By being methodical, one gets dedicated;
dedication leads to efficiency, which in turn
leads to devotion. Devotion enables one to arrive
at truth.
Editor’s note:
Something very unique happened at the temple in
the month of April. The devotees had witnessed an
unprecedented event, the Laksha Lingarchana on
Saturday, April 22, at premises of the Siva
temple. This was the first of its kind ever
performed in the United States of America. Our
priest Phanikumar and the first lady Parvathy
Kancherla worked relentlessly for 4 months to make
this event a success beyond anyone’s
imagination. In addition, the staff, priests and
countless numbers of volunteers helped the
organizers with this mammoth undertaking. The
executive committee and the board of trustees
offer their sincere appreciation to everyone who
contributed and participated in this religious
event. One wonders how Mrs. Kancherla could
coordinate such a phenomenal event single
handedly. Kudos to her and her crew for their
determination and hard work. May God bless them.
The
Varshikotsava celebrations and many other events
are happening in the month of May. Below is a list
of events planned for the months of May and June.
Please attend and make these programs successful.
To
the seeker of Truth, breath becomes the simplest
place to begin the inner journey. The yogis of
India have practiced the simple technique of
watching the breath in order to calm the mind for
thousand years. Try it now and see how your mind
becomes calm and quiet. How easily you become
concentrated and focused.
