While you are in the temple, please observe these tips

Dear Devotees,

We received many suggestions and recommendations to recreate and enhance an atmosphere of spirituality in the main sanctum areas of our temple. The executive committee and the trustees would like to see that the spiritual atmosphere in and around the temple is maintained at all times. The following guidelines are meant to provide a very fulfilling visit to the temple for all the devotees.

• Observe silence when you are in the prayer hall.

• Respect the privacy and religious sentiments of your fellow devotees.

• Dress modestly. Avoid wearing shorts, or mini skirts to the temple.

• While standing in line for Darshan, please wait for your turn.

• Keep your voice down if you need to talk while you are in the main prayer hall.

• Encourage your children also to be part of Darshan and worship. Do not allow them to play, run or misbehave in the prayer hall.

• Turn off your cell phones and beepers while you are in the prayer hall.

• Do not socialize in the prayer hall. Make room for other devotees to worship and temple staff to clean the premises and prepare for religious functions

• Do not take any photographs or movies of the deities. You may do so during Prakarotsavam of Utsava Moorthies.

• Leave the area clean after you finish a pooja (especially the Homa gundam).

• Remove crushed lemons or coconuts in the parking lot after Vahana pooja.

• No shoes are allowed in the temple except in the designated areas

• Do not smoke in and around the Temple premises.

• Leave the reserved parking spaces for Handicapped Devotees.

• When performing Archana, please limit names to your immediate family in consideration of others who may be waiting
