About four hundred people from Atlanta, and neighbouring states including
Alabama, Tennesse, Florida and Carolinas, braved the hot and humid weather on
this Sunday to witness the ground breaking ceremony of Hindu Temple Of Atlanta.
It was the first major event of this temple and the sacred ceremony was
conduced by, Sri Janakiramsastry from Stroudsberg Pa. Sri Swamy
Jyothirmayananda of Florida in an enlighting talk stressed the importance of
Hindu temples and gave guidelines to help children. Though it seems like it is
tenacity of few, it is largely the generousity of many that became the guiding
force on this day.
