President's Message

Date: February 21, 2010

Dear Fellow Devotees:

We had great celebrations of Mahasivarathri. More than 500 devotees attended on a week day. We had Kalasha puja followed by Rudra homam in the morning. Priests did a marvelous job as usual doing 5 Abhishekams to lord Shiva. Last one at 4:30am.More than 100 devotees stayed whole night. Devotees enjoyed the individual Rudrabhishekam.

We are now busy preparing for upcoming Sri Maha Lakshmi Koti Kumkumarchana. Koti Kumkumarchana starts May 16th and it will end August 20th with Varalakshmi Varatam. We are bringing 10 Priests from Tirumala Veda Patasala to do the Puja everyday. 10 Priests will be doing Sri Maha Lakshmi Sahasranamam total 100,000 times.

We are doing outreach program for Koti Kumkumarchana. Mr & Mrs. Ravi Ponangi. Dr.Devender and Mrs. Padma Koganti hosted the program so far. They are very successful. If any of you would like to host the program please contact the temple or puja committee. In the south east part of United States we are the first one doing this. During Koti Kumkumarchana Maha Lakshmi is worshipped in all eight forms. All these eightfold Sri Lakshmi is ultimately one single power. That is Adishakti. She is the origin, the power, the wisdom and the strength.

Please come and participate in this grandeur celebration. This is once in life time opportunity. Please mark your calendars for Sri Rama Navami which is on March 24th.

May the Blessings of the Lord always be with you and your family.

Sincerely
Hymavati Mikkilineni
President
